No! Our tallow balm has a light, natural scent, and when essential oils and/or herbs/resins are added, it smells even lovelier. No one will mistake you for dinner—we promise!

Not at all! It melts into your skin like butter on warm toast, absorbing quickly without leaving a heavy or oily residue.

Our balms are shelf-stable, but we recommend using them within six months of purchase for the freshest experience.
Should I keep it in the fridge?
It’s totally up to you! If your home runs warm and you notice any separation, just pop your balm in the fridge for about an hour and give it a gentle stir. Otherwise, it’s perfectly happy living on your bathroom counter, ready when your skin needs a little love.
Why does my balm/butter look different than last time?
Since we don’t use artificial stabilizers or preservatives, slight variations in texture or color are totally normal. Every jar is unique—just like you!
