Think of it as the ultimate skin food! Tallow balm is a rich, creamy moisturizer made from pure, grass-fed/grass-finished tallow. It closely matches the natural oils in human skin, making it deeply nourishing, ultra-hydrating, and oh-so-smooth.
Will it make me smell like a steak?
No! Our tallow balm has a light, natural scent, and when essential oils and/or herbs/resins are added, it smells even lovelier. No one will mistake you for dinner—we promise!
Is tallow balm greasy?
Not at all! It melts into your skin like butter on warm toast, absorbing quickly without leaving a heavy or oily residue.
Why is tallow so good for my skin?
Tallow is packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, basically a skin-loving dream team. It helps restore moisture, protect your skin barrier, and keep you glowing like you just got back from vacation.
How do I use tallow balm/butter?
Just scoop out a little, rub it between your fingers, and apply wherever your skin needs some love. It melts instantly and spreads like a dream.
Do the tallow balms expire?
While our balms are shelf-stable, we recommend using them within six months of your purchase to ensure optimal quality. To extend their shelf life, you can store Rae, Grace, and Bear in the refrigerator.
Should I keep it in the fridge?
That’s up to you! If your home is warm an you notice separation, pop it in the fridge for an hour and give it a quick stir. Otherwise, it’s happy on your bathroom counter, ready for whenever your skin needs a little boost.
Why does my balm/butter look different than last time?
Since we don’t use artificial stabilizers or preservatives, slight variations in texture or color are totally normal. Every jar is unique—just like you!
